Ingredients :
- 2 Capsicum/Bell Pepper
- 1 cup Boiled Chick Peas (Chhole Chana)
- 1 cup Shredded Cabbage
- 1 cup Shredded Cottage Cheese (Paneer)
- 1/2 cup Boiled Green Peas
- 2 Chopped Green Chillies
- 1/2 cup Chopped Coriander
- 1/2 tsp Aamchoor (Dry Mango) Powder
- Salt To Taste
- Grated Cheese
- Butter
Method :
Cut 2 medium sized capsicums into halves (can take different coloured bell peppers) and put them in boiling water for a minute or two n keep it aside.
Mix shredded cabbage, shredded paneer, crushed boiled green peas, boiled chick peas, coriander, green chillies, salt and aamchoor powder together and smash everything together to make a smooth filling. Divide the filling in 4 equal parts. Fill each half of capsicum with filling and cover it with grated cheese. Repeat with rest of the capsicum halves. Add some butter on each of capsicum halves.
Grease a baking tray and place the stuffed bell pepper in it. Pre heat the oven and keep the tray inside at 200 degrees centigrade for 10 mins (or till cheese melts and turns golden brown).
Serve hot.

Is it fine if v use a cooker instead of oven

I have not tried in cooker but u can try n let me know d results. I think it should work cook without any water and whistle in the cooker.
I dont have microwave ..hw else can I prepare it??.
Hi supriya, you can use a deep pan on gas stove. Put the capsicum halves in deep pan, cover it and let it cook on medoum flame till cheese melts.
Instead of chick peas what we can use..???
