Serving : 8 Bhatures
Ingredients :
- 2 1/2 cup All Purpose Flour (Maida)
- Salt to Taste
- 1 tsp Sugar
- 1 tbspĀ Curd/ Yogurt
- 1/2 tsp Fruit Salt (Eno)
Method :
Mix all the ingredients and knead to a soft dough using little water. Cover the dough with moist cloth and keep it in warm place for an hour to rise a bit.
Divide the dough into 8 equal parts and roll each ball individually to a flat ovalĀ chapati. Grease a baking tray and place 4 chapati at a time on it and place it in a preheated oven on 250 degrees centigrade for 5-6 mins.
Remove the baked bhature from the oven, apply butter and serve hot with chole.
Tip :
Alternatively you can deep fry the bhaturas in oil, or roast it on a hot tawa.
